Last week my class did a colouring competition for the 4 square the colouring was the for square person but Easter edition my favourite bit of he colouring page was the big sign that said happy Easter because you can decorate the letters. i did mine in bright colours because they are more like Easter colours like pink yellow orange violet blue purple. I also liked the Easter eggs as well that went with the colouring pages and you also have to do careful colouring when your doing this. i did mine with a sunset background because i felt like doing something else then just doing a blue sky and i made my bunny ears light purple.

Today our class made some crafty paper cups first we had a practice and then we made some with colourful paper here are some steps of how to make a fantastic paper cup
1. fold a 20cm triangle
2. cut the rest of the it of so its a sqaure
3. fold one end to the middle
4 fold the other end and open up the gap
5.fold the front triangle into the gap
6 fold the back one down
and your done!
Part two of Tanemahuta sketching
last week my class did our art and and we finished it this week. We had to draw something that relates to our culture Tanemahuta. Tanemahuta is the god of trees birds insects and forests and flowers like tress and crickets Tanemahuta sketching art was really fantastic art to do! i really really want to do this again i really enjoyed this art have a try at this fantastic art! <3

Tanemahuta sketching
Yesterday Tanemahuta made some art it is called tanemahuta sketching and it was so dun that we thought we would blog about it so you can make youself one so here are some steps of how to make one hope you enjoy making your art!
1. use dark colours and get black or white paper
2. colour over the paper with your colours
3. then paint over the colours you have used and let it dry out
4. when you are waiting for it to dry practise sketching in a book or on a piece of paper
5. when it is dry you can start sketching but be careful and take your time!
