How to make a paper whistle

   

             Last week my class made some paper objects it was really amazing to do his cause we did some                     learning  about a different type of writing called procedural writing. Here are some of the things                     you need to do in a procedural writing you need...

  -numbered steps 

  -bullet points

  -action words

  -check

  -goal

  -needs

  -title 

here is how to make a paper whistle 

1. first cut a piece of paper 14 cm long and 4 cm wide

2. fold the paper in half 

3. then find the two ends of the paper and fold them down

4. cut a little v shape

  

5. put it by your mouth and blow carefully

 Today our class made some crafty paper cups first we had a practice and then we made some with colourful paper here are some steps of how to make a fantastic paper cup

1. fold a 20cm triangle

2. cut the rest of the it of so its a sqaure

3. fold one end to the middle

4 fold the other end and open up the gap 

5.fold the front triangle into the gap

6 fold the back one down

and your done!

Part two of Tanemahuta sketching

 last week my class did our art and and we finished it this week. We had to draw something that relates to our culture Tanemahuta. Tanemahuta is the god of trees birds insects and forests and flowers like tress and crickets Tanemahuta sketching  art was really fantastic art to do! i really really want to do this again i really enjoyed this art have a try at this fantastic art! <3

Tanemahuta sketching

Yesterday Tanemahuta made some art it is called tanemahuta sketching and it was so dun that we thought we would blog about it so you can make youself one so here are some steps of how to make one hope you enjoy making your art! 

1. use dark colours and get black or white paper

2. colour over the paper with your colours

3. then paint over the colours you have used and let it dry out

4. when you are waiting for it to dry practise sketching in a book or on a piece of paper

5. when it is dry you can start sketching but be careful and take your time! 

 Today my reading group was reading school camp fun the we wrote about it i did my writing in numbered  paragraphs and we had to write what we would bring and some of he wonderful things that parents would do for you :> 

Whats your favourite pet cats or dogs?

  

Last week my class did some judging of what is better cats or dogs? I chose cats because they are clean and tidy when cats go toilet they clean it up but when dogs go toilet they will just leave it there that is really yuck! Also cat cats can be fluffy and not fluffy but I like every cat also kittens. Cats and kitten are very playful they play with string cotton they are also very smart. And they are very cute!

And hats why i think cats are the best pet.

 

Hi my name is Natalie and soon whole school is going to do a race called the Triathlon but is not on a hill it is at our school. The first hing we do is do three laps around the court it is very tiring the second thing we do is swim 4 lengths it takes awhile but you have to keep pushing and before you get into the pool also don't forget to take your shoes off! the third step is when have to do another lap round the court and the final step is we keep on pushing till we get to the finish line!

My class Tanemahuta were doing some judging on what is better apple or banana that we had to publish.

i chose bananas because they are soft and easy to peel and you can make banana split banana cake and banana ice cream. hello my name is Natalie. last week my class did some art.the art is called picasso we made these picasso paintings into press boards i had i lot of fun

it was very enjoyable my favourite part was the sharpie cause it will make the the painting stand out more.

but i also really enjoyed the pencil because you get to section it and that means you can make it more colourful. and i really love art its my favourite hing to do when i'm bored.
